Company newsHercules logistics2005-09-20During the exhibition “Freight Russia-2005”, ITKOR have had a meeting with Mr. Alexander P. Usov, the representative of an American company “Access Industries”. During this meeting, organisation of the equipment storehouse was discussed. The largest Kazakhstan coal mining company «Bogatyri Akses Komir» (TOO BAK) owes this storehouse. In a week, negotiations were continued in the office of the Institute. The commercial director of TOO BAK, Mr George Mover, took part in it. During negotiations the frames of the issue were greatly extended. The Customer was offered to hold express-analysis of existing system of material and technical support (MTS) of the company. The Direction of TOO BAK complied with this offer. Since June 21 2005 a group of ITKOR employees has set to work on the object. This work will result into the plan of reforming the MTS system of the customer company. “Bogatyri Akses Komir” is the largest Kazakhstan coal-mining company on the power stations fuel market. It is developing the Ekibastuz coal field. The balance spares of coal form 10,7 billion tons. Russia is a main consumer of Ekibastuz coal. Annually, TOO BAK ships 20 million tons of coal on Ural power stations. 10 The largest stations of Ural and Suberia work on Ekibastuz coal. TOO BAK is one of major concerns of Kazakhstan. Its personnel counts 8060 persons approximately. “Access Industries” is a controlling company (USA) since September 1996. It had privatised the property of “Bogatyri» and “Stepnoy” cuts (70%) after the open tender, called on in accordance with government decision. |
